Event Recap: Kyle Newacheck’s Short Film Screening
On September 16th, Workaholics creator and Director, Kyle Newacheck returned to our campus for an evening of short and wacky films. His brother, Director Adam Newacheck, joined him, along with LAFS alumnus Jason Alacrity aka Jason Jensen (August 2004). Among the films screened were Ethos, about how the last human on the planet searches for the truth regarding an alien invasion, and Astrid, a project about a lonely girl. Following the screening, Kyle provided some of his insights and thoughts on filmmaking with the audience.

If you can market them (pilots) to short film festivals, that’s a good way to get your work in front of people..
Finally, when asked about his meteoric rise on Comedy Central, Kyle responded.
