The film associate program allows you to study all areas of filmmaking, so you can decide which field suits your interests the most. Students complete the program ready to take on various supporting roles on set including grip, set dresser, assistant editor, and 2nd assistant camera. Are you ready to get started?

Digital Editing
Learn what it means to fix it in post! This course teaches students essential editing techniques using advanced digital editing software. Our hands-on training covers post-production editing skills along with understanding the vital role of editing in the storytelling process. Upon completion of this course, students will feel confident using professional editing tools to enhance their productions.
Intro to Film Production
Discover the artistic style in filmmaking. This course is designed to give students the chance to experiment and explore their aesthetic and professional goals as they begin to shoot quickly and expressively right from the very first day. Students will collaborate on a series of short film projects that will explore everything from basic story structure, screenplay analysis and director’s preparation.
Directing I & II
Look at the big-picture through the director’s lens. This course engages students in practical directing exercises and techniques to build a deeper understanding of the craft. Students will learn how to effectively communicate with actors and crew as well as shoot and edit several short projects. Upon completion of this course, students will deepen and enhance their visual storytelling skills.
