Women In Media Event Recap

The Women in Media Networking Breakfast event Wednesday morning attracted a fantastic turnout of over 50 people including students, faculty and alumni. The women enjoyed a light breakfast while learning more about the role that each of them play within the media community, ranging from publicist to aspiring director to set designer, as well as listening to LAFS alum Sandra Seeling speak via Skype from The Sundance Film Festival. The group hopes to hold an event next month that is open to all genders so as to expand their already strong community.
