Explore the legal and business mechanisms affecting the commercial use of music. Students learn how to apply intellectual property rights, copyright registration, music licensing, and artists’ contracts. Upon completion of this course, students have a better understanding of working with outside publishing companies and performance rights organizations.
Pro Tools Essentials
Discover the power of Pro Tools software. Within this course, students will apply highly specialized concepts and procedures, such as multi-track drum editing, advanced hardware I/O setup, MIDI routing and hardware/software integration. Upon completion of this course, students can confidently create and edit recordings as well as produce sound for film scores, TV, studio albums, and more.
