Resident Evil 2 Remake Confirmed

Capcom has announced that they will be remaking the 1998 classic horror game, Resident Evil 2. This marks a continuation of legacy releases for the company, and Capcom plans to fully re-engineer the graphics, cutscenes and gameplay for the new title. The Resident Evil game series has helped popularize the survival horror game genre, and played a role in reviving the mass-appeal of the zombie apocalypse scenario, inspired by films including Night of The Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead.
