DJ Skee Partners With The Los Angeles Film School For SKEE TV
Industry veteran DJ Skee (born Scott Keeney) is launching a new venture. After finding success on stage, on satellite radio, and in the digital space, Skee is taking his talents to the Fuse network. Keeney is partnering with The Los Angeles Film School for the television series SKEE TV.
Graduates of The Los Angeles Film School will participate in the production of each SKEE TV episode. Current students will be able to watch live musical appearances by top stars. The performances will be filmed on campus at the recently renovated Ivar Theatre.
“We see a huge opportunity to empower this next generation of young creatives, something we at SKEE have always been very passionate about,” said Skee. “Second, we see this as our time to build a Times Square West marquee studio at the intersection of Sunset & Vine, where cultures collide. The Los Angeles Film School is the perfect partner. They have always been an important entry point for thousands of young creatives and aspiring professionals to get a start in the industry. Now, together, we can bridge the gap between traditional job placements and entrepreneurial spirit while bringing the biggest names in music and entertainment to the school.”
More joint initiatives between Skee and The Los Angeles Film School will be announced later this year. The partnership is centered around providing the school’s students hands-on experience and opportunities for lucrative job placements.
