The Los Angeles Film School Makes Filmmaker Magazine’s 2024 Film School Guide

For the 2nd year in a row, The Los Angeles Film School was included in this year’s  FILMMAKER Magazine’s Film School Guide. Published annually, the Film School Guide showcases the leading public and private film schools across the country, offering readers valuable insights into each school, such as application deadlines, degree offerings, and distinguished faculty and alumni.

The L.A. Film School’s film program is recognized as one of the nation’s top programs providing undergraduate and associate degrees both on-campus and online. Students can enjoy 250,000 square feet of cutting-edge facilities including five film sound stages, a 330-seat main theatre, and a campus library as well as personal access to necessary hardware and software, opportunities to connect with a wide network of accomplished alumni, and the chance to learn from industry experts. Outside of the classroom, The L.A. Film School boasts an engaged community of students who are involved in multiple student clubs, including the L.A. Student Film Organization.

The L.A. Film School, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, currently offers 18 different undergraduate degrees. Covering almost every aspect of the entertainment industry, students can choose from a variety of programs, including Animation, Audio Production, Digital Filmmaking, Entertainment Business, Film Production, Graphic Design, Media Communications, Writing for Film and TV, and Music Production.
