Grad Stephanie Moningka is Making Waves
The Entertainment Business grad is taking the industry head-on
Even before arriving at The Los Angeles Film School, Stepahnie Moningka has been working hard in the entertainment industry as an artist, and celebrates her military background by being involved in various veteran-led organizations.
Stephanie is the best-selling author of the book, “Master Life: 7 Powers to Living at Your Highest Potential.”
A hard working entertainment professional, Stephanie has led a life filled with accomplishments and service. An army veteran, Stephanie has a record of performing the National Anthem at her Basic Combat Training graduation ceremony in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, her Advanced Individual Training graduation ceremony in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and for several Change of Command and Deployment Ceremonies in Fort Bliss, Texas. She was then known as the National Anthem Singer of the 1st Armored Division and was awarded, on several occasions, the Performance of Excellence Award, and later won the Soldier of the Quarter Award.
She served her last few months as the Command Group Secretary of the 142nd Battalion and passed the E-5 (NCO) Board. Her promotion to Sergeant, required a re-enlistment, but Stephanie was satisfied with her Honorable Discharge on May 16, 2013, leaving with several other deployment awards, a Silver German Qualifications Medal, and a Sharp Shooter badge.
She is also a member of the VFTLA (Veterans in Film & Television) non-profit organization, has an Associate of Science degree in Film and a Bachelor of Science degree in Entertainment Business from The Los Angeles Film School and is a member of the National Honors Society of the Entertainment Arts.
