For the past 11 years, Jeff Goldsmith from the Backstory Magazine has partnered with The Los Angeles Film School to host Oscar-nominated screenwriters. This year, the panel was held virtually due to the campus theater being closed for COVID-19 restrictions. In true show business fashion, the show did go on, and Jeff spoke with 14 writers and directors on Zoom. The 14 screenwriters represent eight of the 10 Oscar-nominated screenplays for the 93rd Academy Awards. You may recognize some or even all the screenwriters including Will Berson, Ramin Bahrani, Peter Baynham, Jena Friedman, Christopher Hampton, Ant Hines, Kenneth Lucas, Keith Lucas, Darius Marder, Abraham Marder, Kemp Powers, Aaron Sorkin, Chloé Zhao and Florian Zeller.
