“The Imitation Game” Screening with director Morten Tyldum
On Tuesday, February 3, Jeff Goldsmith and The Los Angeles Film School presented a screening of The Imitation Game, followed by a Q&A with writer Graham Moore and director Morten Tyldum.
Graham Moore discussed with Jeff Goldsmith how Alan Turing’s legacy is about more than his machines.
The heart of Benedict Cumberbatch’s character was living an imitation of his true self while creating remarkable machines.
Continuing the reflection, Graham added,
It’s because of his differences from the world around him that Alan Turing was able to accomplish these wonderful things. He saw the world differently.
We’d like to thank Jeff Goldsmith, Graham Moore, and Morten Tyldum for stopping by to discuss their Oscar-Nominated film. Listen to Jeff’s podcast, The Q&A with Jeff Goldsmith, here.
