November of 2024 saw notable accomplishments of Los Angeles Film School alumni across different sectors of the entertainment industry. From Alyssa Ulrich and Damani Blair’s roles in Marvel’s Agatha All Along to Cynthia Hernandezgarcia’s production work on Fairly Odd Parents: A New Wish, these graduates are putting their stamp on hit projects. Red One

Red One

Two alumni of the Los Angeles Film School lent their talents to the production of Red One, the highly anticipated Christmas-themed action-comedy starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Chris Evans. Blane Eguchi, a 2012 graduate from the Film program, contributed as a Loader. Devin Stovall, who graduated from the Recording Arts program in 2019, was a Stunt Performer. Stovall previously has worked as a Stunt Performer in this year’s Bad Boys: Ride or Die and the cult hit, Bottoms.

Two alumni from the Los Angeles Film School worked on the production of Disney+/Marvel’s Agatha All Along, starring the Golden Globe-nominated Kathryn Hahn. Alyssa Ulrich, a 2019 Entertainment Business graduate, contributed as the Health and Safety Supervisor for the Los Angeles Unit. Damani Blair, a 2019 Film graduate, worked as a Visual Effects Producer with Barnstorm VFX, helping bring the show’s stunning visuals to life.

Fairly Odd Parents: A New Wish

Cynthia Hernandezgarcia, a 2017 graduate of The Los Angeles Film School’s Animation program, has established herself as a talented Production Manager at Nickelodeon. Recently, Cynthia shared exciting news, stating: “The time has come – mark your calendars for the Netflix release of Fairly Odd Parents: A New Wish on November 14th!”

Her resumé includes serving as a Production Manager on the popular animated series The Casagrandes, and as a Production Coordinator on the series The Mighty Ones, further showcasing her expertise in animation production.

The Dodgers

2021 Audio Production grad Andrew Padilla worked for the Los Angeles Dodgers during their recent championship season, along with other sports teams and arena venues as an Audio Engineer. Andrew said:

“LA Film School helped give me the tools needed to now become a part of a World Series Championship Team. We just finished out the season and now my focus shifts to other arenas in Southern California. I’ve been a Dodger fan my whole life and to be able to be here when the lights are shining the brightest is what I live for.”
