Oculus Rift Price Revealed
Oculus, the company recently purchased by Facebook, has announced a release window for their Rift virtual reality headset. The device, allowing users to experience immersive 3D games and movies in 360-degree fluidity, has undergone multiple beta iterations over the past three years, and made refinements to the hardware before arriving at the latest build. The cost of the Rift is $1500, and includes the price of the PC required to run it.
In addition, Oculus has revealed their new controller, the Oculus Touch. This is a device that will allow players to reach out and interact with objects in VR naturally. The Oculus Rift is slated for release in Q1, 2016.
