Our Marvelous L.A. Film School Alumni Have Credits on These Marvel Movies
You probably already know that The Los Angeles Film School is pretty super, but did you know just how super our alumni are? Many alumni have worked on the production crews for the Marvel Movie Universe. Their impressive showing in the Marvel Universe includes a variety of positions, from electricians to directors and sound designers to aerial cinematographers.
The Harvard Business Insider calls it “Marvel’s Blockbuster Machine.” It’s a well-oiled, thrilling, money-making machine, grossing some $17 billion since Iron Man was released in 2008. The films are favorites of moviegoers and critics alike with an average rating of 84% on Rotten Tomatoes. And, they’ve become a staple in pop culture for the past two decades. Movies like Black Panther (2018) have re-energized the classic superhero, bringing millions of people to the cinema for every opening weekend. Most people agree that, as Tony Stark would say, they “love them 3,000.”
The size and scale of these production crews mean that producers and directors have to be picky. Marvel has become one of the most successful movie franchises in the history of cinema. Crews need everyone to do their jobs and do them well.
