Alumni Screening Night

ALUMNI SCREENING/SCREAMING NIGHT
Tuesday, October 15th
4pm (NON-HORROR) AND 7pm (HORROR)
Location: Building 1, Main Theater

Join us on Tuesday, October 15th starting at 4pm, for our last Alumni Screening Night of the year! Free entry, free refreshments, and even a few surprises...

The evening kicks off at 4pm with Before It's Too Late, a somber sports drama directed by 2021 alum, Demario Mclain. Next, we continue with a gritty depiction of the seedy African underworld in Ato Kwabena, a feature-length movie directed by 2017 alum Evans Hermann Condobery followed by the film's cast and crew Q&A moderated by TV host and former Miss Kenya, Rachel Mbuki.

Then, at 7pm, LAFS gets into the Halloween spirit with two horror-themed alumni films. First, we screen 2024 alum Ariel Harris' acclaimed vampire short, Pledge: Change is Good, which has hauled 12 festival placements since it premiered last fall. Our night concludes with the world premiere and cast and crew Q&A of supernatural feature film Unholy Song, executive produced by 2019 alum Matthew Bingham and directed by famed cult horror director Arthur G. Night.
