Alumni Screening Night Returns!

Join us on Tuesday, 5/21 starting at 5:00pm PT for the official grand return of our Alumni Screening Nights! Screenings include: The Story of Rascal Bic, a short film directed by 2023 alum Nathan Lee; Risk Factor, a short film directed by 2023 alum Nakiya Martinoni; Come In, a short film directed by 2021 alum Jordan Wallace; and In the Defense Against Tyranny, a feature film directed by 2008 alum Felix Ramos that has collected 11 festival winss. All patrons are welcome to attend for free, and refreshments will be provided for attendees.

Join us for an exciting session with Juan Nuno, the principal artist at Respawn Entertainment, as he delves into the fascinating world of game modeling. With a stellar background that includes working on APEX Legends and League of Legends at Riot Games, as well as creating cinematic masterpieces for titles like Borderlands 2 and Batman Arkham Origins at Digital Domain, Juan brings a wealth of experience and insider knowledge. Discover how modeling for interactive, real-time environments in games differs from the high detail demands of film, and learn how to think about producing assets for both mediums. Juan's journey includes building Riot Games' in-house cinematics team from scratch, growing it from 3 to 40 members, and developing efficient pipelines for high-end renders.
