Veteran Convos: Emotional Wellness

The next Veteran Convos will be held on Tuesday, August 16th, 2022 at 12:00pm PDT. Emotional Wellness is the ability to successfully handle life's stresses and adapt to change and difficult times. During August's Veteran Convos, we will engage in fun activities and discuss the obstacles to emotional wellness and how to overcome its occurrence. A licensed therapist, Randy Brown, will also join us to support and answer any questions that you may have.

Hosted by the Entertainment Business Program and moderated by Senior Program Director, Mac Torluccio, meet alumni Alan Cao, Film and TV Licensing Manager for BMG. Alan, a Military Veteran and LAFS alumni, will speak to his experience as a music coordinator in the television, film, and music industry. Find out how his triple degree in Music and a Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Business, helped him develop his skill set as an audio engineer, combined with social media engagement, artist relations, and staff coordination led to his career today.

Sweded Film Club Meeting

The next Sweded Film Club meeting will be on Tuesday August 30th at 7pm EST! 

Sweded Films are recreations of existing movies with little to no budget, no special effects, and, often, hilarious acting. Bring an example of a movie scene you’d love to recreate and we will work together to produce it!
