LAFS Theatre Rewind: Eyes on the Prize with Official Latino Film Festival Founder, Danny Hastings

Danny created the Official Latino Film Festival in 2015, in response to the lack of Latinx representation in Hollywood films and TV shows. Its mission is to showcase, nurture, and support the emerging creative Latinx filmmakers who produce, direct and/or write their films in the United States. You won't want to miss this one!

September Short Film Screening Event

The Los Angeles Film School's EBS441 - Event Management Class is pleased to offer you the opportunity to participate in a free film test screening of four LAFS film students' short films. The screening is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 6:00pm PT.

This event is an opportunity to provide valuable feedback for filmmakers that aid in editorial and marketing decisions.

Sweded Film Club Meeting

The next Sweded Film Club meeting will be on Tuesday, October 4th at 4:00pm PST/ 7pm EST!

Sweded Films are recreations of existing movies with little to no budget, no special effects, and, often, hilarious acting. Bring an example of a movie scene you’d love to recreate, and we will work together to produce it!

Craig Armstrong served as an independent unscripted television producer for nearly 10 years, working on series such as the groundbreaking juggernaut “Survivor” (CBS) with Mark Burnett, the smash hits “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” “Supernanny” and “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution” (all ABC), among many others. A six-time Emmy Award nominee, in 2010 Armstrong won the award for “Outstanding Reality Series” for “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution.”
