The next Veteran Convos will be held on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022 at 12:00pm PST. During March's Veteran Convos, we will transition into our second Emotional Intelligence series, where we will discuss social awareness and relationship management. Social awareness and relationship management are important components of Emotional Intelligence that help individuals manage and navigate interactions successfully. Therapist, Randy Brown, will also join us to support and answer any questions that you may have.
The second Sweded Film Club meeting will be on Tuesday March 15th at 4pm PT/7pm ET!
Sweded Films are recreations of existing movies with little to no budget, no special effects, and, often, hilarious acting. Bring some examples of your favorite short Sweded films and we can watch them together! We will also discuss our strategy for forming teams and making our own Sweded films.

Join us for the replay of our virtual event celebrating women in post-production sound featuring Alumni Mehrnaz Mohabati and Angelina Faulkner. The ladies display how they “clean things up” using compression and EQ. They’ll share some of their most recent projects and detail how a professional goes about constructing their work. We’ll get into the challenges and differences with working in ADR vs production audio and working in documentary vs studio film and other specifics. Music and sound lovers won't want to miss this!

What does it take to be a VFX artist in today's competitive climate? Join Career Development as Talent Manager Laura Coumbe and a VFX artist from CoSA VFX chat about the VFX field and answer questions about breaking into the world of VFX! CoSA VFX has been doing visual effects since 2009 on features and TV including Stranger Things, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Walking Dead, Agents of Shield and Gotham.
