The Los Angeles Recording School and Career Development are thrilled to announce a special edition of our monthly live listening and feedback event, The SoundCheck with special guest Clinton Sparks! The winner of multiple ASCAP and BMI Songwriter awards, Clinton has worked with some of the top-selling music artists - including Beyonce, Pitbull, Ludacris, Akon, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Lady Gaga, JoJo, and more!
Q+mmunity’s mission is to foster acceptance throughout campus and online forums at The Los Angeles Film School to provide a safe, non-judgmental space as a support network for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, and Straight students to give them the opportunity to build friendships and learn from each other. Our next meeting is taking place virtually on March 6 at 4pm PT / 7pm ET. Please join us as we brainstorm events and initiatives for the year and look for new student officers to lead the way. Ethan Hallowell is an entrepreneur and partnerships executive working at the intersection of entertainment, technology, sports, and more. In his current role at SiriusXM / Pandora Music, he plays an integral part on the artist and brand partnerships team overseeing the full process of experiential activations with all key stakeholders – from talent procurement, branded activations and sponsorships down to physical on-site execution at large-scale concerts as well as major cultural and sporting events. Notable projects include teaming up with American Express for SiriusXM’s “Small Stage Series” featuring performances by John Legend, Pearl Jam, Halsey, Lizzo, and more. Additional brand projects with SXM consist of working with Capital One, Xfinity, and Hilton just to name a few.

You'll learn about the latest trends in the industry and how to use them to create a visual identity that sets you apart from the crowd.
"The Power of Visual Storytelling: A Journey with Giselle: A hands-on workshop where students work with international alumna Giselle, to learn the art and techniques of visual storytelling in filmmaking and photography. Giselle Dias specializes in fashion, beauty and fine art photography and loves curating selected artists visual content with her fashion, contemporary and poppy aesthetic. Dias, graduated in Film at the Los Angeles Film School and has worked in campaigns, music videos, fashion films, editorials and magazine covers. She is an advocate for women's rights and the LGBTQ+community, which translates into her work.
During the March Term's Veteran Convos, we will discuss strategies that you can utilize to declutter your mind and practice mindfulness and rejuvenation. Therapist, Randy Brown, will also join us to support and answer any questions that you may have.
